Ôn từ vựng Unit 12: Các loại rô-bốt (humanoid, home robot, teaching robot, doctor robot, space robot, worker robot), khả năng (move, lift, understand, speak, recognise, cook, clean, guard), tính từ (useful, helpful, harmful, amazing, fantastic, interesting).
Ôn ngữ pháp:
- So sánh nhất của tính từ ngắn: the + adj + -est.
- This robot is the fastest.
- So sánh nhất của tính từ dài: the most + adj.
- This is the most expensive robot.
- Bất quy tắc: good → the best, bad → the worst.
- Could + V: khả năng trong quá khứ.
- Robots couldn't speak in the past.
- Can + V: khả năng hiện tại.
- Modern robots can recognise faces.
Ôn phát âm: Âm /ɔɪ/ (boy, toy) và /aʊ/ (now, about).
2. Ví dụ minh họa
Hoàn thành câu: a) This is ___ (good) robot in the show. → the best b) In the past, robots ___ (can) only lift heavy things. → could c) This robot is ___ (expensive) of all. → the most expensive d) Now, robots ___ (can) speak many languages. → can
Giải thích: Câu (a) dùng the best — dạng bất quy tắc của good. Câu (b) dùng could vì nói về quá khứ. Câu (c) dùng the most expensive vì expensive là tính từ dài. Câu (d) dùng can vì nói về khả năng hiện tại.
Bài tập nhanh: Viết câu so sánh nhất: (this robot / small / in the world) → This robot is the smallest in the world.
3. Ghi nhớ
- So sánh nhất: tính từ ngắn → -est; tính từ dài → the most.
- Can = hiện tại; could = quá khứ.
- Ôn thuộc các loại rô-bốt và khả năng của chúng.
